So apparently parts of the Great Wall of China are submerged underwater (a lake, to be specific) as of the 1980s. And it wasn't until quite recently that they began underwater tours of the "most dive-worthy parts" called Diving the Great Wall.

Then, included in the whole package, following the underwater tour, there is a land trip to an unrestored section of Forbidden City, which is normally off-limits to tourists.

That's so damn awesome. Almost makes me wish I knew how to swim.. =\
