Mother's Day.

First and foremost.. Happy Mother's Day (and any pseudo-Mom's, i.e. myself) out there! As for me, after my parents and I went to NY for dim sum with the kids and the rest of the family.. my dad and I went to a spa and got a facial that lasted about 2 hours. My mom stayed at my grandmother's while plaing Mahjong with the other mothers - my two aunts and my grandmother. 'Twas a good Mother's Day after all. =D

Mile High Club.

Normally I'm not a big fan of Applebee's, but a few friends chose the restaurant as a meeting place to play catch up. We ordered this..

Mile High Ice Cream Pie
This pie-scraper starts with an OREO® cookie crust, filled with chocolate ice cream and layers of chocolate fudge and peanut butter. Then we add peanut butter ice cream, caramel swirls and peanut brittle. Finally, we drizzle it with hot fudge & caramel, and top it with whipped cream and OREO® cookie crumbs.

and it continues.. The Great Wall.

in a previous post, i mentioned that i participated in the March for Babies. while checking-in to the walk, there were sponsors and stuff with giveaways. i got a free piggy bank, some candy, free breakfast, a water bottle, and i submitted an entry to some free facial/makeover. today.. i got a call informing me that i won the free facial/makeover! plus i get a free goodie bag of makeup. =] YAY!! [ i don't even wear makeup, but that's totally not the issue!! ]

I'm thinking that since my plans of going to Philly tomorrow have been changed, I will be making a trip there next week. Moreso since the weather should be nicer by then, or at least hoping. That way.. when I get down to Philly, I can eat this wholesome food.

I'll either pick this up for lunch, then walk around Philly or stall. Then pick up cheesesteak for dinner or vice versa. Either way will make my tummy very satisfied.
