and as we were leaving, i noticed this cute sign:

i needed a cupcake fix the other day after watching cupcake wars on the food network, so i did my research and saw a lot of really good reviews on Two Little Red Hens. their website sucks, but their cupcakes are the best that i've eaten so far! and i'm a sucker for cupcake bakeries with lots of variety in flavors! maybe the larger cupcakes taste differently, but the mini ones were delicious. it was such a good balance of frosting with cupcake, too! i think it ruins the cupcake when there is an overload of frosting! anyway.. if you're ever on the upper east side (or, like me, you're not but you want good cupcakes!), i highly recommend thsi place!
